Some pots are made to be used. This one is made to be remembered.
Hand-hammered from pure copper, the Copper Cauldron carries the warmth of slow cooking in every facet of its surface. The wide, low form holds heat evenly; the domed lid seals in flavour. Two arched copper handles invite the hands to lift, to carry, to serve — straight from the hob to the table.
At 18cm and 1800ml, it is the perfect vessel for a small braise, a fragrant stew, or a shared moment around the table. Suitable for gas hobs.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Copper Cauldron best used for?
At 1800ml and 18cm diameter, it is ideal for small braises, fragrant stews, soups, sauces, and slow-cooked dishes for 2–3 people. Its wide, low form distributes heat evenly across the base, making it particularly well-suited to slow cooking and simmering.
Is the Copper Cauldron compatible with induction hobs?
No — the Copper Cauldron is designed for gas hobs only. Pure copper is not magnetic and therefore not natively compatible with induction. For induction cooking, an adapter plate may be used, though we recommend gas for the best results with copper cookware.
What is the difference between the Copper Cauldron and the Copper Forge saucepan?
The Copper Forge is a taller, narrower saucepan (1300ml) with a wooden handle — ideal for single portions, noodles, and sauces. The Copper Cauldron is wider and shallower (1800ml) with two arched copper handles — better suited for braises, stews, and dishes that go straight from hob to table as a serving vessel.
Will the copper develop a patina over time?
Yes — copper naturally develops a patina as it oxidises, shifting from bright warm copper to deeper amber and brown tones. This is completely natural and non-toxic. To restore the original shine, clean with a paste of vinegar and salt, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
Can I serve directly from the Copper Cauldron at the table?
Yes — this is one of its greatest strengths. The hand-hammered copper surface and arched handles make it beautiful enough to serve from directly at the table. Use a trivet or heat-resistant mat to protect your table surface.
