There are objects that slow you down — and that is precisely their purpose.

Hand-hammered from pure copper, the Copper Ritual kettle carries the warmth of its making in every facet. The rose-gold finish catches the light; the antique copper deepens with time, telling the story of every brew. A jute-wrapped arched handle keeps the grip cool and the silhouette timeless.

At 1 litre, it holds enough for a quiet ceremony — a pot of tea, a moment of stillness, a ritual worth repeating.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Rose Gold and Antique Copper?
Rose Gold has a brighter, warmer pink-gold tone that catches the light beautifully — more contemporary and luminous. Antique Copper has a deeper, darker patina that gives it an aged, heirloom quality. Both are hand-hammered pure copper and develop their own unique character over time.

Is the Copper Ritual kettle suitable for boiling water on the hob?
Yes — the Copper Ritual is designed for use on gas hobs and open flames. Pure copper heats water faster than any other material. It is not compatible with induction hobs without an adapter plate.

Can I use the Copper Ritual to brew tea directly inside?
The Copper Ritual is primarily a kettle for boiling and pouring water. For brewing tea directly inside a vessel, we recommend our Iron Ritual cast iron teapot, which has an enamel-coated interior designed for steeping. The Copper Ritual is best used to heat water and pour into a separate teapot or cup.

Does the jute handle stay cool during use?
Yes — the jute-wrapped arched handle is designed to insulate against heat, keeping the grip comfortable even when the copper body is hot. Always handle with care and avoid direct contact with the copper body during and immediately after heating.

How do I maintain the copper finish over time?
Copper naturally develops a patina (oxidation) over time — this is part of its beauty and is completely non-toxic. To restore the original shine, clean with a paste of vinegar and salt, rub gently, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Avoid dishwashers and abrasive cleaners.
