The Golden Garden cushion cover draws from the great tradition of chinoiserie — exotic birds perched among flowering branches, peonies in full bloom, all rendered in gold, sage and amber on a soft ivory velvet ground. A golden border with braided trim frames each design; the reverse is a warm caramel velvet, plain and grounding.

Three designs, each a world of its own:

  • Jade Peony — ivory ground with symmetrical green peonies and exotic birds, dark green botanical border, caramel velvet reverse with gold corner tassels.
  • Golden Garden — ivory ground with exotic birds in flight among cascading peonies and flowering branches, gold braided rope border, plain caramel velvet reverse. The most exuberant of the three.
  • Moon Blossom — ivory ground with a single circular composition of a bird on a blossom branch, golden or Greek key border, caramel velvet reverse with corner tassels. One branch, one bird, one moment of stillness.
